Tarot Readings

You are assured of a professional and empowering reading from Tarot Academy. You may have already confirmed this for yourself by reading some of our testimonials. 

Mary is our main reader and your reading can be enjoyed in a number of ways. Choose from either :

  • Face to face if that’s geographically possible
  • Face to face via webcam/Skype (we’ll arrange a meeting time)
  • By email (we’ll type up your reading and send it to you)
  • By videomail (we’ll record your reading on video and send it to you)
  • Sent to you on CD or MP3


GENERAL INFORMATION ON READINGS:

The Tarot is a wonderful tool for clarifying what is going on in your life. You can look at anything from a one card “what would be useful for me to be aware of today?”, through 3-card readings “what are the past, present and future influences around this situation?” There are also much more detailed spreads available for longer readings and more specific questions. We will help you frame up your question to ensure the best and most empowering reading for you. It can be as simple or as detailed as you like.

Remember too that Mary is a professional reader who is a TABI (Tarot Association of the British Isles) Endorsed Reader who regularly studies and practices to improve her skills. She is also a trained and qualified Coach, NLP Practitioner and Optimum Practitioner who has also studied Psychology, Behavioural Profiling and Counselling. So, you really are getting a safe pair of hands who will handle your reading with care, sensitivity, confidentiality and skill. (And a bit of flair and natural talent thrown in!)

NOTE: All of our readings include: a courtesy follow up with you; and a free Birth Date Card reading, calculating your Birth Date cards and explaining their significance to you so that you are more able to notice these qualities in your life and how best to access them for your benefit.

Monthly Drop-Ins

We host a Tarot evening on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Lots more info is available on our Events page, and why not see the Testimonials page too?

Teleconferences

We work with the Tarot School in New York and co-host a Monthly Teleconference with them which focuses on the “Readers Studio” conference held annually in New York.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Having convinced Ruth Ann & Wald Amberstone, the Founders of the Tarot School and the Readers Studio, of the benefits of regular “meetings” before and after the Readers Studio we have been running these calls now since mid-2007 and they continue to amaze and delight all involved.

The Tarot School’s annual “Readers Studio” conference is regularly sold out with a growing waiting list. If you can’t get there you can STILL COME AND JOIN US! Remember we have teleconferences leading up to the event each year as well as after the event where we share knowledge, tips, learnings and catch up socially. This means that – even if you are not going to be at the event you can STILL ENJOY & SHARE SOME OF THE LEARNINGS AND THE ATMOSPHERE. That’s what persuaded me to make the trip.

It is such a fantastic environment. I went for the first time in 2007 and learned huge amounts; I made some amazing new friends; I networked with and worked alongside some of the top Tarot readers, teachers, artists, authors and designers in the world and had heaps of fun. Webconferences

We also host regular Webconferences – often in conjunction with the wonderful Johanna Gargiulo-Sherman (designer of the Sacred Rose Tarot Deck). We often refer to these as our “Tarot Around The World” webconferences.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

There are two distinct types of webconference:

1. A general TATW social and catchup webconference which is completely free to join. This is great fun and we are able to connect with our friends around the globe and talk Tarot.
2. Special, focussed TATW webconferences on specific topics for learning and improving our skills and knowledge of Tarot and linked topics. Choose from a range of sessions, including:

  • Creating Your Tarot Mandala
  • … and you can send us your suggestions for what you’d like to see covered in a webconference!

Tarot Parties

Want to have your own party? Great! We can come to you if you are reasonably local in the Midlands.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

If you get a group of at least 8 people together then we can come to you. For bigger groups we have a great team of readers who can make it a memorable event for you and your friends and colleagues.

We can do this in your home, in the local pub, restaurant, or even at your place of work – yes, we’ve been known to transform your boardroom (in more ways than one!).

Games

We have a range of excellent Tarot “games” – a great way to find out more about Tarot, get a great interactive reading and learn more about Tarot and about yourself in the process.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Some of our games are able to be played by one player only, others are great for up to 4 people to play. (Or larger numbers in multiples of 4 if you decide to have a bigger group and you play in teams).

1. The TAROT DICE game is great for one player although if you are open to sharing your question then 1 player can ask a question and get great insight from multiple readers! Available to play at our Tarot Drop In Meetings.
2. The Tarot.Tarot game is our most popular and effective game. We’ve been using it for a number of years and it really is simple and powerful. Fun and easy to play it offers great insights and you get to keep a note of your reading. We play this at our Tarot Drop In Meetings each month – you’ll need to book your place if you want to be sure of your seat!
3. The Tarotel game is another game we have available for those who fancy a more challenging game!

Tarot Talks

Mary has great speaking credentials and is much sought after as a professional speaker. She is the Founder President of the Professional Speakers Association (PSA) in the Midlands and has worked as an adviser to their European Board as well as being past Chair of their European Conference attended by delegates from 9 countries.

She is also a member of the International Federation of Professional Speakers (IFPS) and has travelled the world to deliver her talks, training, coaching and consultancy to a wide audience.

This means that you can be sure of someone who will share her passion and enthusiasm, skills and knowledge of Tarot with her audiences worldwide. She sits comfortably between the corporate business world and the esoteric and spiritual world, believing that there is a balance achieved by integrating both sides.

Mary is a life member of the Institute of Directors in the UK where she has a reputation as a sensible, down to earth, practical person who has a strong corporate background and is able to easily link the practical corporate world with the practicalities of the more esoteric and spiritual side – a remarkable balance.
